Dr. Keith A. Bolton, pastor of Liberty Christian Center International and founder of DKB Ministries requested that Lazarus Graphics design the book cover for another project he was working on, "How to Hang Tough in Hard Times". The book is a collection of messages that Dr. Bolton preached on perseverance.

Since the title and direction of the book led logically to the question "How do you hang tough in hard times?", we used an exaggerated question mark as a central image in the piece. We accentuated that with an image of a man hanging from the proverbial end of his rope, above the image of Dr. Bolton coming out of the shadows to offer the answer to the unasked but unavoidable question.
